Christmas Masses:
Moycarkey: Christmas Eve: 4.00pm & 6.30pm: Christmas Day 11.00am.
Littleton: Christmas Eve: 7.00pm; Christmas Day: 9am and 12 Noon.
Two-Mile-Borris: Christmas Eve: 4.30pm & 8.30pm: Christmas Day: 10.30am.
Due to COVID 19 two extra Masses will be celebrated this Christmas. A maximum of 50 people are allowed in the Church for Mass. Only 10 people are allowed to attend a Baptismal Ceremony & 25 for Weddings and Funeral Masses.
Pope John Paul II Awards:
Congratulations to the sixteen Transition Year Students who received the above award for services to the Church and the parish over the last year.
School Mass & Penitential Service:
During the month of December it is traditional to have Mass and Confessions in the four schools of the parish. Due to the current pandemic this is not possible. Instead a special Mass and Penitential Service will be streamed live from St. Kevin’s Church in Littleton on Tuesday at 11.30am.
Christmas Penitential Service:
The above ceremony will take place in St. Kevin’s Church, Littleton on Thursday, 17th December commencing at 7pm.
Moycarkey Church: Due to the current pandemic all Churches must be sanitized on a regular basis. It is essential that this happens after all Masses and other liturgical celebrations. People who attend the daily 10am Mass might take it upon themselves to sanitize the Church before they leave. Volunteers are required to cover the weekend Masses. If you are willing to help out please contact the Parish Office.
Cleaning of Moycarkey Church: Sincere thanks to all those who have cleaned the Church over the last number of years. New members are required to help this Christmas. Please contact the Parish Office if you are available.
Christmas Cards: Christmas cards for sale in the Parish Office. €1 per card/pack of 12 cards €10.
The Local St. Vincent de Paul: Is holding its annual collection this month. Envelopes have been distributed and can be left in to the Parish Office, at Masses or to any member of the Vincent de Paul.
Christmas Collection for the Clergy: Will be taken up at all Masses this weekend. Your support is much appreciated.
