Exploring Priesthood – Zoom with Seminarians and Priests:
On Tuesday 1st March @ 8pm there will be an opportunity for young men to join in on a Zoom to find out more about priesthood and to hear directly from two young men who are currently studying for the priesthood in our National Seminary in Maynooth. The event is being run by the National Vocations Office. Parish Lottery: Congratulations to Joan Cummins our weekly Winner on the Parish Lotto. Bernie gets the weekly prize of €25. The Jackpot now stands at €1,050.
Bake Sale: The Transition year students from the parish (who are participating in the Pope John Paul II Awards) are raising funds for UNICEF. The final fundraiser will be a Bake Sale which will be held after the 7.30pm Mass in Littleton next Saturday, February 19th. Please leave all baked goods in the Parish Office. The Office will be opened from 11am – 5pm.
Parish Pastoral Committee: At last month’s meeting, The Parish Pastoral Committee began to put plans in place for a Mother’s Day Mass which will take place on March 27th this year. The committee wish to congratulate those taking part in the fundraiser organised by Moycarkey GAA for Aoibheann’s Pink Tie. We urge those who can, to walk 5km and donate €5 in support of this worthy cause.
Gaile National School: Now taking enrolments for September 2022. Please contact the school at 087 9663959 for further details. An Open Day will be held at the school on Tuesday, March 1st at 11.30am. All are welcome.
