Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock: Will take place on Sunday, August 4th 2019. Coach departs from Hogan’s Liberty Square, Thursday at 8am & from Town Hall, Templemore at 8.30am. For details and booking, contact Bridget at 0504 21096; Jim at 085 8278014.

 

Quiet Half Day Lectio Divina at Kilcooley Church: Will take place on –Saturday 27th July, 11am to 3pm (outside, weather permitting) and in the grounds of the remains of Kilcooley (Cistercian) Abbey. This half day of reflection will be on the scriptures and particularly the Catholic Epistles: James, 1 & 2 Peter, 1, 2 & 3 John, & Jude. This is an event open to all. Bring your own food and drink as well as a copy of the New Testament. No charge for attending. Cash donations will be sent to Thurles Cathedral towards the cost of repair of the damaged statue of Archbishop Patrick Leahy.

 

Open Garden: Hosted by Johnny Bourke, Clonboo, Clonmore, Templemore, Eircode E41 A2C2 on Sunday, 21st July from 2-6pm.  All proceeds in aid of St. Joesph’s Primary School Pitch Development.

 

‘Tea in the Afternoon’ event in Hayes in Leigh: A huge thank you to everyone who supported this event. Amount raised was €3,000. €2,000 towards North Tipperary Hospice & €1,000 towards the Nandri Project in India. Trisha and her friends are currently in India and have been working on the project with women and young children over the past few weeks. You can see what this project is about on Instagram at nandri4families and through www.nandri.org.
