Pope John Paul II Meeting: Transition Year Students who are interested in participating in the aforementioned award are invited to attend a meeting in the Parish Office on Monday, September 23rd at 7.15pm.
Bishop John Ryan: A special Mass will be celebrated at St. James’ Church, Two-Mile-Borris, on Tuesday, October 1st, at 2pm in memory of the late Bishop John Ryan, former Bishop of Limerick. Bishop John was a native of Two-Mile-Borris. His parents are buried in the local cemetery. The Cemetery Committee will unveil a plaque in his honour after Mass.
Bishop Ryan was ordained Bishop of Limerick on March 17th, 1828. He died on June 4th, 1864, and was buried under the old altar. He was instrumental in building St. John’s Cathedral in Limerick. Light refreshments will be served after Mass.
Adoration in Littleton Church: Every Tuesday from 7pm – 8pm. Prayers including Rosary, Holy Face & Divine Mercy. Every Thursday from 9.30am – 1pm & 6pm – 8pm. All are welcome.
Anam Cara Tipperary: The organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding it’s monthly Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Wednesday 18th September at 7:15pm in the Horse and Jockey Hotel.
Youth Information Tipperary: We offer people a wide range of services including: SUSI Grant, C.V. and Cover Letters, Typing, Printing/Photocopying, Internet Access, Laminating, Binding etc. Please note there will be a small charge for secretarial services.
