Two-Mile-Borris Church: Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 10.00am.
First Friday: Communion calls to the sick and the housebound at the usual times.
Lent 2020 Scripture Sharing: You are welcome to a guided reflection with others on the Gospels of the Sundays of Lent on Tuesday, March 3rd, 10th, 24th & 31st at 7.30pm in the Parish Office, Littleton. This is an opportunity to meet God in the scriptures in accord with the themes of Hearing (in listening to God’s Word), Happening (see how it touches our lives) Hoping (and inspires our faith). All are welcome.
Trócaire Lenten Campaign: Trócaire Boxes are available at the Churches this weekend. Please support the work of Trócaire.
Lenten Food Appeal: Over the next seven weeks we are inviting parishioners to donate a food item each weekend during Lent. After Lent, items will be donated to those most in need. Our food item next weekend is Porridge. Please bring some with you to Mass and leave it in the box inside the Church door. (This project is being organised by a group of Transition Year Students from the parish who are participating in the Pope John Paul II Awards).
A Ceremony of Light for the boys & girls preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation will take place in Littleton Church next Thursday, March 5th at 7.30pm.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament:
Moycarkey: Wednesday after 9.00am Mass to 4.00pm & 6.00pm to 9.00pm;
Two-Mile-Borris: Wednesday after 10.00am Mass;
Littleton: Thursday after 9.00am Mass to 10.30am. No Evening Adoration.
Special Mass for Juvenile Sports Clubs will be celebrated in Littleton Church on Saturday, March 7th at 7.30pm. The purpose of this celebration is to ask God’s blessing on all our young people who are privileged to play sport.
Sacrament of Baptism: The next information session will be held in the Parish Office on Monday March 9th from 7.30-8.15pm. Please contact the Parish Office in advance to confirm your place on the course. Parish Office (0504 – 60018).
Development & Upkeep of Church Property Collection: Will be taken up at all Masses this weekend. Please support.
Our Diocesan Listening Process: Has progressed onto the formulation of the key elements of a draft pastoral plan for the parishes of our diocese. You are invited to feedback your response at the next Gathering of Moycarkey, Two-Mile-Borris & Littleton Parish which takes place on Wednesday, 11th March 2020 @ 7.30pm in Holycross Community Hall. All are welcome.
