First Friday: Communion calls to the sick and the housebound at the usual times.

 

Sacrament of Baptism: The next information session will be held in the Parish Office this Monday September 2nd from 7.30pm – 8.15pm. Please contact the Parish Office in advance to confirm your place on the course. Parish Office (0504 – 60018).

 

Parish Lottery: Congratulations to Josephine Fox winner of this week’s Parish Lotto. The Jackpot now stands at €5,000.

 

Fatima Five First Saturday: St Kevins Church, Littleton on Saturday 7th September with rosary starting at 9.00am and Mass at 9.30am. Mass celebrated by Fr John Littleton . Confessions heard before and after.

 

Adoration in Littleton Church: Every Thursday from 9.30am – 1pm & 6pm

– 8pm. All are welcome.  Holy Face Prayers at 7pm.  All Welcome.

 

World Day of Prayer for Creation: Sunday 1st October to the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi on 4th of October.

 

Moycarkey Coolcroo AC: Will hold a Church Gate Collection this Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September. Your support is greatly appreciated. Card payment will be available.

MBLL Community Employment Project: Annual Church Gate Collection on Sat 7th & Sun 8th September. This collection will contribute towards the upkeep of machines and grass cutting in local graveyards and villages.

 

HOLYCROSS ABBEY SOLEMN NOVENA 2024: Will run from Sunday 8th to Monday 16th September. Monday to Saturday sessions at 7am, 10.30am, 4.30pm & 7.30pm (please note there is a 12.30pm session on Sundays but no 4.30pm). There will be a Penitential Service on Friday 13th at 7.30pm, Anointing of the Sick on Saturday 14th at 2pm and Blessing of Infants on Sunday 15th September at 2.30pm. Coffee morning in aid of the Irish Kidney Association: Sincere thanks to all who attended and contributed to this fundraiser. A considerable sum was raised for the Irish Kidney Association Tipperary.  It was much appreciated.

 

Thurles Special Olympics Club: Are looking for Volunteers to assist with training, one hour weekly on Wednesday evenings, at the Presentation Sports Hall. If you are interested please contact Mary 086 0818135 or Enda 087 6060772.
