Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion (Lay-Led Liturgy) This Liturgy will take place in St. Peter’s Church Moycarkey on Monday 24th August @ 10. It will be led by a Minister of the Word and a Minister of the Eucharist.
Sacrament of Baptism The next information session will be held in the Parish Office on Monday 7th September from 7.30 – 8.15 p.m. Please contact the Parish Office in advance to confirm your place on this course.
Pastoral Ministry Would you like to serve as a Pastoral Minister within your parish and parish pastoral combination? A programme in Pastoral Ministry and Leadership will begin in October and lead to a two-year course of study in Mary Immaculate College, Thurles. Moycarkey Graveyard Committee will hold an information meeting in Moycarkey Hall on Wednesday 26th August @ 7.30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
Moycarkey Coolcroo Athletic Club will hold a Church Gate collection on Sat 29th and Sun 30th August. All donations are greatly appreciated as they continue to develop the facilities in Littleton for athletes of all ages. Our Lady of Fatima Pilgrimage to Holycross Abbey takes place on Sunday 30th August 2026. Rosary at 1.30pm followed by Stations of the Cross at 2pm, Anointing of the Sick at 2.40pm and Mass at 3pm with Celebrant, Fr. Celsus Tierney. All are welcome.
Monster Metal Scrap Collection Fundraiser Thurles Mart, Friday August 28th & Saturday August 29th. All types of Metal accepted. Country OK – Dance Project invites people from across Tipperary to join a series of dance workshops and to take part in a show. Workshops will take place in Nenagh and Thurles, the show will take place in Holycross. It’s all to country music classics and the dancing is a mix of line dancing and creative dance.
