Trócaire Lenten Campaign: Trócaire Boxes are available at the Churches this weekend. Please support the work of Trócaire.
Lenten Food Appeal: Over the next seven weeks we are inviting parishioners to donate a non-perishable food item each weekend during Lent. After Lent, items will be donated to one of the Third World Countries. Our food item next weekend is Rice. Please bring some with you to Mass and leave it in the box inside the Church door. (This project is being organised by a group of Transition Year Students for the parish who are participating in the Pope John Paul II Awards).
Healing Service & Holy Mass: Will be held in Our Lady & St. Kevin’s Church, Littleton on Tuesday 4th March at 7pm. Feast of Holy Face, Mass & healing with Fr. Brendan Walsh. Prayers at 6pm.
Parish Pastoral Team: The team are considering organising a Parish Mission – possibly next October. Further details to follow.
Parish Lottery: Congratulations to Annette Scott winner of this week’s Parish Lotto. The Jackpot now stands at €5,000.
Pobal Eile Choral Evening: Choirs representing Gortnahoe/Glengoole, Moyne/Templetuohy, Moycarkey/Borris/Littleton and Thurles Parishes will participate in a Choral Service in the Sacred Heart Church, Gortnahoe on Sunday, March 2nd at 7pm. Please come and enjoy this wonderful display of musical talent from all four parishes in our Pastoral group and refreshments will be served in the Gortnahoe Community Hall for all following the service.
Moyne Drama Group: Are running their highly entertaining play “It’s The Real McCoy” for two more nights on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th March at 8pm. From the proceeds, donations will be made to Suir Haven Cancer Support, CAMEO, Care Dementia Support, Thurles Town Park, Loughtagalla & Moyne Hall.
St. Kevin’s N.S. Littleton Clothing Collection Fundraiser: Bags of clothing can be dropped to the school on Wed 12th and Thurs 13th March during school hours and also from 7-8pm on Thurs 13th. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Littleton Tidy Towns: Will hold a Church Gate Collection on Sunday 9th March at 12. Your support is appreciated.
