Parish Pastoral Teams: We warmly invite you to a meeting in Holy Cross Hall on Wednesday 18th May to discuss the setting up of Parish Pastoral Teams. We will discuss this in the light of Lay people and Priests’ ‘Co-responsibility’ for the faith life of each parish. This is our follow up meeting to the Pastoral Plan Seeds of Hope on 14th March. The meeting will be from 7:30-9pm with tea/coffee afterwards. We look forward to seeing you.
Vocations Sunday: The Fourth Sunday of Easter is known as Vocations Sunday or Good Shepherd Sunday, and is dedicated as the World Day of Prayer for Vocations. The Church sets aside this day each year to fulfil Jesus’ instruction to “Pray the Lord of the harvest to send labourers into his harvest” (Matthew 9:38).
Parish Lottery: Congratulations to Ann Marie Hayes, Leigh our weekly winner of the Parish Lotto. The Jackpot now stands at €1150.
Exam Mass: A special Mass for all students preparing for the Leaving and Junior Cert examinations will take place in Littleton Church on Saturday, May 28th at 7.30pm.
Sacrament of Baptism: The next information session will be held in the Parish Office on Monday May 16th from 7.30-8.15pm. Please contact the Parish Office in advance to confirm your place on the course. Parish Office (0504 – 60018).
Summer Camp: The camp will run from Tuesday, July 26th to Friday, 29th. It is open to primary school pupils from the parish.
Two Mile Borris Village Clean Up will take place next Thursday, May 12th at 7.30pm. We ask anyone wishing to help to please meet at the school in the village. Please wear hi vis and gloves. Alternatively clean up bags can be collected from Tully’s Nearby, bags can be taken for people to litter pick their own road or estate. A pick up point for these bags will be allocated for council collection.
