Lenten Food Appeal: Over the next seven weeks we are inviting parishioners to donate a food item each weekend during Lent. After Lent, items will be donated to those most in need. Our food item next weekend is Peas/Beans. Please bring some with you to Mass and leave it in the box inside the Church door.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament:
Moycarkey: Wednesday after 9.00am Mass to 4.00p.m. & 6p.m. to 9p.m.
Two-Mile-Borris: Wednesday after 10a.m. Mass.
Littleton: Thursday after 9.00am Mass to 10.30am & 8.00pm to 9.00pm. A Holy Hour will be held in Littleton Church on Tuesdays from 7 – 8 pm.
Easter Collection: Will be held at Masses this weekend and over the Easter. Envelopes are available in the Church porches. We ask everyone to contribute.
Sacrament of Baptism: The next information session will be held in the Parish Office on Monday May 13th from 7.30-8.15pm. Please contact the Parish Office in advance to confirm your place on the course. Parish Office (0504 – 60018).
MBL Pastoral Committee: Are holding a Memories of Bord na Mona Evening on Sunday April 7th from 4pm to 8pm in the Community Centre, Littleton. Refreshments served on the evening. All welcome. Moycarkey I.C.A.: Next meeting will be held on Thursday, April 11th at 7.30pm in Múintir Ná Tíre Hall, Littleton.
Healing Service: Will take place in the Pallotine Chapel, Wednesday 10th of April. Rosary at 7pm & Holy Mass at 7.30pm. All are most welcome.
Table Quiz: In aid of Order of Malta – Cashel Unit will take place on Friday 12th of April at 9pm in the Horse & Hound Pub, Dualla.
Hospital Visitation: Due to the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) hospitals are no longer permitted to provide a list of parishioners who are sick. If you have a family member in hospital who would like a visit from a priest please contact one of the priests of the parish or notify the Parish Office.
Healing Mass: In preparation for Holy Week a special Healing Mass will take place in Littleton Church on Tuesday April 16th at 7.30p.m. Confessions will be heard during the Mass and visiting clergy will attend.
Youth Pilgrimage to Lourdes: Four students from the parish have been selected to go as helpers to Lourdes next June. In order to help defray expenses a Clothes Collection will be held on Saturday, April 27th in the GAA Club House, Littleton between 12 & 2 p.m. Further information may be obtained from Chris Coffey (086-6061644) or Helen Dowling (086-3403371).
Anam Cara Tipperary: Are holding a Parent Evening on Monday 15th April at 7.20pm in the Horse & Jockey Hotel.
The Annual Chrism Mass: Will take place in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles on Wednesday, April 17th at 7.30p.m. At this Mass Archbishop Kieran will bless the Oils that will be used during the year in the celebration of the Sacraments. All young people who received the Sacrament of Confirmation this year are invited to attend.
