Weekday Masses

Moycarkey Church: Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri at 9.00a.m; Thurs at 7.30p.m.

Littleton Church: Monday to Friday at 9.00a.m;

Two-Mile-Borris Church:  Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 10.00am.

Masses for the Holy Souls 30 Masses will be offered for the Holy Souls during November.  Envelopes for lists of those you wish to be remembered are now available in the church porches, and they should be returned as soon as possible.

Special Masses for the Dead and for the Bereaved Families: Moycarkey: Thursday 15th November at 7.30pm; Littleton: Wednesday 21st November at 7.30pm. If you wish to have any names included for the Mass in Littleton, please contact the Parish Office no later than Friday, November 16th.

 

Rosary in Cemeteries – on each Sunday of November

St. Peter’s Moycarkey & Littleton at 2.30pm; Old Cemetery, Moycarkey at 2.50pm; Ballymoreen at 3pm; Two-Mile-Borris & Galboola 3.30pm.

 

Eucharistic Adoration: A Holy Hour will be held in Littleton Church on Tuesday from 7 – 8 pm for protection of the unborn, sick in the parish and holy souls. Prayers to include Holy Rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy and devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus.

Epilepsy Ireland: Would like to thank all those who contributed the recent Church Gate collection.

Development & Upkeep of Church Property Collection: will be taken up at all Masses this weekend. Please support.

National Collection for the World Meeting of Families 2018: Please support the Fifth National Collection for WMOF 2018 which will be taken up at all Masses next weekend.

Pro Life Campaign Church Gate Collection: will take place this weekend.

Coffee Morning: Denis & Úna O’Sullivan would like to thank all those who generously supported the aforementioned last Saturday. Their daughter (Lauryn) will be travelling to Calcutta for the Hope Foundation next year.

Two-Mile-Borris Biodiversity Play Garden: The proceeds from Thurles Drama Group production of “Sive” by John B. Keane in The Source on Monday 19th November will be for the new Biodiversity Garden, work on which will commence very soon. The play will be preceded by a cheese & wine reception. Tickets are €20 & available from Bannon’s, Corcoran’s, Gala or any Committee member. Alternatively phone John on 087-2408035 to reserve tickets.

Pope John Paul II Award: Congratulations to the fifteen young people from  our parish who received the above award from Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly last Thursday.
