Opening Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9.45am to 1.30pm. Items for the weekly newsletter should be emailed to the Secretary no later than 12 noon on Thursday.

Offertory Collection last Weekend: – €1,239.80.

Parish Listening Meeting: A meeting will be held in the Múintir Ná Tíre Hall on Monday, October 22nd at 7.30pm. We extend a special invitation to all those who are involved in Church Ministries e.g. Readers and Ministers of the Eucharist.

Mission Sunday Collection:

A special collection will be taken up at all Masses this weekend to support the work of circa 1,300 Irish born missionaries and all missionaries throughout the world. During mission month we unite ourselves in prayer with them and with the communities with whom they work. Please support.


Sacrament of Baptism:The next course will be held in the Parish Office on Monday Nov 12th from 7.30-8.30pm. Please contact the Parish Office in advance to confirm your place on the course. Parish Office (0504 – 60018)

Scripture Sunday, October 28th, 2018: In preparation for Scripture Sunday an evening of training will be held in St. Patrick’s Campus, MIC, Cathedral St., Thurles on Thursday 18th of October at 7.30p.m. This course is open to present and potential future readers.


Millennium Family Resource Centre (MFRC), Glengoole: Runs a meals on wheels service on Tuesdays. Nutritious, freshly prepared dinners are available for €5. Please contact Mary McMahon at 052 9157992 or 083 1014313. There is also a day service on Wednesdays where people are welcome to attend the centre for dinner and social activities.

Two-Mile-Borris/St. Kevin’s F.C: Memorial Mass for Deceased members & Friends will be held on Wednesday 24th October at 7.30pm in Littleton Church. Light refreshments served afterwards in Múintir Ná Tíre Hall.

Tipperary Ladies Football: church gate collection will take place at all Masses this weekend.  Your support is much appreciated.

Community Alert: are holding their church gate collection at all Masses on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th of October.

Anam Cara: are looking for some supportive volunteers who would consider helping for our Bag Packing for a couple of hours on Saturday 10th November at Dunnes Stores, Thurles between 10am – 6pm. If you are interested in helping out, please email Pam at p.gaffney@anamcara.ie.

Bingo Fundraiser: will be held on Sunday 28th of October at 3pm in Múintir Ná Tíre Hall, Littleton. This is in aid of the Senior Citizens & Friends Christmas Social, which takes place in the Anner Hotel on Sunday 9th of December at 2pm. All are welcome to attend. October – Safeguarding Month: All Clerics and Religious are Mandated persons. The Children First Act 2015 places a legal obligation on them, to report child protection concerns to Tusla – Child & Family Agency. These mandated persons must also assist Tusla, on request, in its assessment of child protection concerns about children who have been the subject of a mandated report.
