Prayer for a young person who has left Home

She/he is far away, lonely and alone. She/he is starting a new life in a city where she/he knows no one and none notice her/him. Give her/him courage, O God, to face each new day, to find work that gives meaning, to discover friends who enrich her/his life. Guard her/him from all danger and harm, from disease and despair, and from all which threatens to destroy the gift of life which you have given unto her/him. All this we ask in the name of Christ. Amen.
